Some Men Don’t Ask Permission

You know the kind of man I’m talking about.

The one who takes your hand like he’s already decided. Who orders the wine without looking at the price, who texts at midnight not to apologize but to tell you exactly what he’s thinking. Who looks at you across a restaurant and makes you feel like the most interesting thing in the room — and the most dangerous.

The kind of man most fiction gestures at and then steps back from.

I don’t step back.

My name is Roman Henry. I write M/M dark romance — possessive men, complicated power, and love stories built in places most fiction won’t go. The desire here is real and it’s messy and it doesn’t resolve cleanly. My characters want things they probably shouldn’t. They take them anyway. And somewhere in the wreckage of all that wanting, they find each other.

No fade to black. No closed doors. No looking away at the moment that matters.

If you’ve been reading romance and feeling like something’s being withheld — like the author blinked, like the story stopped just before it got honest — this is for you.

The first story is coming. It’s long, it’s dark in the right places, and it ends the way it should.

Subscribe if you want to know when it lands. Or find your way back when you’re ready.

Either way, I’ll be here.
